Lightening Strikes the Mountain Top

Lighting Storm in Asheville. This morning I awoke around 5:30 AM. I looked at the radar and saw a big cell coming from the north moving in my direction. I hopped in the car which was still packed from last night’s sunset shoot and found a spot on the BRP that would capture this storm. I hoped for a capture of lighting but firing by hand requires a little luck – OK a lot of luck! I did manage to get a few. This shot was taken in the direction of the Biltmore Estate.
